Magic and Religion have been intimately connected in many cultures to explain events outside of human understanding. Western’s culture religious focus on monotheism has separated magic into supernatural events sanctioned by mainstream religious doctrine such as miracles and “unreasonable” magic rooted in folk belief. What about magic in the form of transformation? At the core of most religion is the desire for transformation of individuals and communities.

This worship service will explore the idea of magic as transformation of our attitudes, circumstances and world view through music, art, and other forms for creative expression.
