The story of David and Goliath is one of the most well know stories from the Hebrew Scriptures. It has entered our culture as an example and inspiration to underdogs. David sometimes wins but often does not.  How can some people and communities overcome seemingly insurmountable odds while others cannot? How can religion help or hinder the underdogs? These and other challenging questions will be explored during this worship service.
