Beyond the Golden Rule

“Do to others as you would have done to you” is a fundamental ethical claim of many religions and seen as an important ethical guide by non-religious and religious people alike.  As people striving to live a kind, compassionate and thoughtful life this would seem to be a good guide for Unitarian Universalists. Like many simple ideas this becomes much more difficult in practice than theory.  This intergenerational worship service will explore the golden rule and the many challenges in putting this “simple” rule into practice in the real world.
