The Right of Conscience and the Use of the Democratic Process
Our 5th Unitarian Universalist Principle is the Right of Conscience and the Use of the Democratic Process. As Unitarian Universalists we value democratic principles both in the operation of our churches and the governing of our country. Yet many of us feel that the fundamentals of democracy are under attack in our own country and throughout the world.
This worship service will consider why the connection between conscience, religion, and democracy may be more important now than ever.
