As summer ostensibly comes to a close and schooltime begins, we think of changes. Sunday’s service will include a blessing for all ages for what we carry into the new season ahead. All of us are entering something and carrying something. You may be carrying a pencil with an eraser or an electronic device with erasing capability. We will need to use our “erasers” wisely. What gets erased, and why, has some practical, ethical, and theological roots. Join Rev. Nell Newton as we explore how to make good use of erasers. Children will join their summer program after spending time in the service.
