We tend to acknowledge and admire the great achievements of people and groups, those moments that transform ourselves or our society for the better. While changes can seem sudden we overlook the fact that either individually or collectively people have been working to make changes happen often unseen by most of us. Persistence, effort, and dedication are values, while often unrecognized, are common attributes of people we admire and achievements we benefit from. How can we make persistence a healthy spiritual practice? This inter-generational worship service explores the rewards we gain and the struggle we have regarding persistence.
