Feminist scholar Carol Meyers says Exodus is arguably the most important book of the Bible. Intern Minister Erin Walter will lift up one small but key detail in that story of the Israelites’ exodus from slavery toward a promised land: the women bring tambourines. Even on this long, difficult journey, there is music and dancing. We will explore practices for keeping joy and music in our lives during difficult times, and Erin will share a bit her plans for her post-graduation ministry.
