Juneteenth and the 8th Principle
Fifteen congregations across the UU faith adopted an eighth principle at their annual meeting last weekend: to build the Beloved Community by accountably dismantling racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions. This service will recognize the upcoming Juneteenth holiday and explore the proposed 8th Principle with special guest preacher Everette Renee Harvey Thompson (our Side With Live Director of Political Education and Spiritual Sustenance).
