December 15th is the third Sunday of Advent, the season of joyous anticipation before the coming of Christmas. Join Wildflower Chaplain Bis Thornton for an adventure through the Gospel stories that precede the birth of Jesus–in all their humor, strangeness, and beauty. Together we will meet a terrified priest, a new old mother, an angel who is more patient with some people than others...and, of course, the young woman at the center of the story who is excited about the birth of her new child. What might she think the meaning of his birth is?

Children and youth in kindergarten through 12th grade will be meeting in person in their classes after being present in the sanctuary for the first part of the service. The nursery is available for babies and children from 6 weeks to 5 years old during the entire service period. You may choose either option for your child if they are 5 years old.
