The Religion of Science and the Science of Religion
Religion and Science have had a difficult relationship for much of history, particularly where science correctly contradicted religious \"fact.\" For many people, science is where objectivity, the quality of being true outside of a person\'s biases, is primary and observation of the material word is the basis for knowledge. Whereas religions such as Unitarian Universalism are about exploring the spiritual realm of ideals, meaning, and faith. Both science and religion have been profoundly influential on our culture, and in recent times both science and religion have started questioning the idea of objectivity. This worship service explores the often difficult relationship between science and religion while exploring the idea of objectivity.
