Join us for this second Sunday of September as we continue to explore our worship theme of “in solidarity”.  Rev. Tania Marquez will explore the power of words to help make visible the invisible. In this message, she explores the adversities of poverty in a society that has taught us to fear it. She encourages us to examine our assumptions about poverty and how they inform our actions. Rev. Tania encourages us to use the power of this awareness to transform our relationships with others and build more compassionate and just communities. She reminds us, as did Simone last week, that there is room for everyone in the circle.

Our opening and closing hymns during the month of September are: “Sigamos Adelante / Keep on Moving Forward” and “Busca el Amor” (#1004 in the teal Singing the Journey hymnal). During September and October 2025 our worship services explore the theme “in solidarity.”
