The phrase refers to people being endowed with such unalienable rights. From a Unitarian Universalist perspective, our religious principles reflect respect for life and liberty throughout but say nothing about happiness. We search for meaning, believe in the democratic process and pursue justice. What is a liberal religious perspective on happiness and is it a worthy goal to pursue? This worship service will explore the religious ideas of happiness and what might really be worth pursuing in life.
