Symbols and especially religious symbols carry a great deal of power, which can be positive and negative. A major change in our worship space in recent months has been the introduction of our beautiful banner of religious symbols from a variety of world religions. Some of these religious symbols may be familiar to us and others less so. The banner is wonderful representation of the richness of world religions, but we should be careful to just see all religions as different representations of the same universal values and beliefs. This worship service will explore where our Unitarian Universalist religion shares values with each of the religion represented and where do we differ.
