Because UU churches govern themselves, it is important that every voting member who is able takes a turn at serving on the Board. It takes all of us chipping in to make this church work, and that includes Board service. In this worship service, the Nominating Team offers perspectives from their own Board service about its nature and rewards, and asks you to ponder whether it is your turn at the table. But even if you know for a fact that Board service is not for you, we encourage you to attend this worship service, as it may inspire you in some other area of your life!
