Four and a half years ago, using the 4th UU Principle –THE FREE AND RESPONSIBLE SEARCH FOR TRUTH AND MEANING as their guide, Sheila Rae and Debbie Groves decided to try to get an art group started—not a arts and crafts club where folks get together and make art together, but rather a monthly gathering to share and discuss our own creative process and products. The group meets monthly, and just had their 3rd ZOOM meeting. This past June was supposed to have been their third annual Gallery Show in the Community Room. This Sunday’s service features their art and reflections on why and how they create. At the heart of the service will be the unveiling of this year’s collaborative quilt, which has been assembled by Holly Cooper.
