Five years ago, these words were labeled “buzz” and it was assumed they would fade away. Little did we know these words (and MORE) would become barriers to community + connection. This reflection will explore how these words have been applied in a UU faith context and offer suggestions on their reclamation as tools for collective liberation.

Bio:  QuianaDenae Perkins is a returning guest at Wildflower. She is currently in her 2nd-year at Starr King School for the Ministry. In August, She will share her passion for shared leadership and collective liberation during her remote learning 9-month internship with the Southern Oregon UU Partnership.
