A Celebration of the Life of the Prickly Pear Cactus at the Top of the Stairs
As a community we are much like a cactus, taking in water when it rains, with blooms that come and go; sweet and prickly; plain and beautiful. As we enter winter, a season of rest and scarcity, let’s pause to remember one cactus whose blooms graced our church home for so long. In doing so we remember our resilience as a community and allow ourselves the complication of being and loving whole, imperfect people.
