speaker: Rev. Brian Ferguson | Like many traditional institutions today, people are questioning the purpose of Church. Overall church attendance is decreasing in the U.S. and declined drastically in most of Western Europe. It is especially low for those below 30 years of age. Church seems to be increasingly irrelevant to many people’s lives, yet a large number of people describe themselves as spiritual but not church going. As we enter the third decade of the 21 st Century we will explore if and how the Unitarian Universalist church can remain meaningful in people’s lives.
