Wildflower Dreams
2026 Stewardship CampaignMaking the Dreams of Our Community Shine in the Greater World
The goal for the 2026 Stewardship Campaign Team is to showcase all the ways in which the work at Wildflower Church positively impacts the way we view the world. Our grand mission as a congregation is “Growing Spiritually Together, spreading Love, Justice, and Joy,” and our everyday actions reflect this work.
Join us through the month of October as we highlight some examples of this mission. Stay tuned to this website for videos, personal messages, and ways to give to further our mission.
Week One: “It Takes a Village”
When Cory and Adrian Lemoine first joined our community, they had moved away from their family in another state with the goal of building another family in Austin. Wildflower became this secondary community for them! They are grateful to have the opportunity to raise their two children in a community not only tied together in its shared values but also with others who support their journey in big and space ways – including the ability for their energetic toddlers to run around the church with other caring adults.
While their little ones are too young to join the Children and Youth Religious Education (CYRE) program for now, they are one of many families inspired by Wildflower’s mission and values who are excited to raise their children with love at the center. To support CYRE, our nursery, and other village-building work, make your pledge today!
Week Two: “Safe and Brave Spaces”
Originally, moving into the Community Room, it was hard to imagine the future camaraderie, dreaming, and capacity building this space would bring to our neighbors and the Wildflower community. While the room was nice and big, it was missing a huge piece that we know and love today: the wall panels reflecting our UU principles, values, visions, and hopes that showcase the true personality of our congregation.
Sarah and Kenn went straight to work, proposing to the Board of Trustees a plan of how to make the space feel more cozy and inviting. Using their precious Time as volunteers and Talents as artists and set designers, Sarah and Kenn were able to help create a space that many outside of our congregation cherish to this day.
Odds are high that if you ask current members what brought them to try out the church, many of them would say they attended an event in the Community Room that piqued their interest.
Help us maintain this space and continue to host our neighbors, friends, and partner organizations by making your pledge today!
Week Three: “Go Together”
When we are young making friends is easy, but as an adult how do you form your community? Perhaps they carried through from your childhood, but what if you moved to a new city or your ethos changed from that of your friends? Where do you go?
We all need community. Wildflower recognizes this need, and we have multiple groups for people to join. From young(ish) adults to female-identified groups, from book clubs to tarot meetings, everyone can find their sense of belonging at Wildflower.
We can only maintain our community with your support, however. Pledge today and help us build the tomorrow you want to see.
Week Four: "When Words Fail”
Music is a lifeline. It can bridge language and culture, it can offer solace and invoke joy. When words fail to tell our story, music speaks for us.
Our band creates music that adds a depth to our community’s connection. Our songs are not always original, but they are life-affirming. Our band’s music changes the feel of our services and reminds us of our interconnectedness. We don’t need to speak when we can sing. We can derive our energy from the beat and lighten our load as the melody lifts us as one.
Please help our band continue to produce good vibes and thrive by pledging today!

It was first developed in the 1990’s by the Henry David Thoreau Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Stafford, TX and subsequently adapted by the UUA as a helpful resource for all of us.
