Everyday Resilience

speaker:

This service is on ZOOM ONLY.

Join Ajara Ledford on a journey to reduce the mystique around the notion of resilience from something accessible only to a “genetically favored few” to an innate set of capacities and behaviors available to us all! Using research-based wisdoms from the fields of health psychology, traumatology, positive psychology and more, she will present strategies to cultivate and benefit from what she calls “Everyday Resilience.” In a culture of reaction over action and rush over rest, Resilience calls upon and to us to acknowledge and invest. Coming together is one glorious way to answer the call. Hope to see you there!

Ajara Ledford is a Licensed Psychological Associate, working with the practice of Dr. Krista Jordan and Associates, treating individuals, couples, and families. Her philosophy of the art of healing is influenced by schools of both Eastern and Western thought. She says, "It is here, in between the lines, just as in between the black and the white rules of life, where one can find truth(s)." She incorporates a diverse set of arts in her practice, such as music (both creating and listening), dance, and Kintsugi pottery.

This service is on Zoom only. There will be no children's or youth classes.
