Sunday Service
Sunday, November 17 at 11:45 am
Service Leader: Nesheema Alheem

Comfort and Edify Yourself
In light of recent events that have affected the current media climate and how we all relate to each other, it’s important to remember the principles of community and comforting one another through these times.
We will also have Noah Lemoine’s child dedication in this service!
Children and youth in grades kindergarten through 12th will be meeting in person in their classes after being present in the sanctuary for the first part of the service. The nursery is available for babies and children from 6 weeks to 5 years old during the entire service period. You may choose either option for your child if they are 5 years old.
Bio of Service Leader: Neshama Alheem, The Self-Love Minister, is a Self-Love & Success Coach, speaker, and best-selling author. She is also founder of The Self-Love Church, her online community where she helps people own their personal power and completely transform the way they see themselves – through greater self-love – so they can create their BEST lives. She primarily works with ambitious women entrepreneurs & leaders, helping them learn to show up more powerfully online & in-person, put themselves and their desires FIRST without feeling guilty or overwhelmed, and build their business around their lives versus the other way around. Neshama believes that we can all create and manifest our ideal lives, but we need to have the confidence to make self-honoring choices for ourselves that align with those goals.
She recently co-authored the Amazon best-seller – which is part of an anthology series – "We Are Women of Substance Volume 2: Confident and On the Move". Currently, she has a workbook available for download “The Loving Yourself More” Workbook, which can be found at theselfloveminister.com/free-workbook.

YOU Have an Opportunity to Sponsor Community Groups Who Use Our Community Room!
Being a sponsor is a wonderful way live our Wildflower mission and to be in relationship with the many community groups who are “bending the arc toward justice”! Some of the recent and more frequent users are the City of Austin’s Equity Office for providing Undoing Racism and Latinx Challenge trainings for adults and youth, the Austin Sanctuary Network for advocacy meetings, other groups like Jewish Voices for Peace and Undoing White Supremacy Austin for teach-ins, meetings, and retreats, BASTA (Building and Strengthening Tenant Action) to support our neighbors in Travis Park Apartments in advocating for their rights, and Texas Trans Futures for a camp.
We need to have a member present to support the groups who use our space in the day or evening. Any new sponsor will receive support in implementing this role which does not require special skills or abilities. It is great for people who work from home (can work from Lin’s office), have evening and weekend availability, or are retired. If interested email Dee Adams at worship@wildflowerchurch.org or Allen Fisher at facilities@wildflowerchurch.org. |

Austin Youth River Watch Volunteers Needed
Austin Youth River Watch is looking for volunteers to help with meal deliveries to their students and families. The commitment is about 4 hours on Fridays starting between 10am-2pm (depending on your availability). You'll pick up meals at Cook's Nook in East Austin and deliver them to student's homes. Please fill out our Volunteer Meal Delivery Driver Form and Emma Walsh will reach out to you afterwards to go over the details.
Why We Need Your Help
Food security remains a concern for many of the students we work with. Each year, we hear from students who do not have consistent access to nutritious food. That's where our meal delivery program comes in!
For the past four years, our staff has been handling the delivery routes, but as our program grows, we’re hoping some of our awesome supporters (like you!) can step in to help out. This would really ease the load on our team and keep this program running smoothly.
